The Middletown Area Band
Boosters Association is proud to announce the 19th annual Sea of
Sounds band competition. The competition is sanctioned by the
Tournament of Bands, and adjudicated by the National Judges Association.
Trophies will be awarded to all competing bands.
Caption awards will be presented by group size for Music, Visual,
Percussion, and Auxiliary.
Register early! Performance order is determined
within each group by the order in which applications are received.
The earliest applicants will perform in the last
position in their respective group.
We also offer the following amenities:
Courtesy video taping of your band's performance from atop the press box.
Video tape immediately available at the conclusion of your performance.
Review your audio tapes in our catered staff-only hospitality area.
Reserved staff-only viewing area at the top of the grandstand.
Expanded warm-up areas allow longer warm-up time.
Warm-up areas located a short distance from the ready gate.
Trailer and bus parking conveniently adjacent to the field.
Full steel spectator grandstand, not open bleachers.
Assigned hosts escort your band from unloading to performance completion.
Concession stands open two hours before first band performs.
Special arrangements available upon request to feed your band upon arrival.
